Because families are like fingerprints no two
are the same it is important that you have
sufficient time to discuss your case in detail
with Ms. Jaigobind. The Custody Center, P.C.
offers a one-hour, office consultation for which
we charge a reduced hourly |

fee of $150.00. Although
some prospective clients will not have any
documents to review because none exist as they
are
beginning the litigation process, Ms. Jaigobind requests that those that do
have documents bring them to the initial
consultation for her review. Such documents include any and all court orders
that have been entered in your case from any
court, especially the last court order entered
by the court in your case, divorce decree,
separation agreement, modification to any |

agreement, custody agreement, informal
agreement, motions, and any petitions that are
pending before the Court. Throughout the
initial consultation, Ms. Jaigobind will discuss
the details of your case, various strategies and
options that may be available to you and a
straightforward and candid assessment as
to what you may expect regarding the outcome of
your case. |

Since we live in a very transient society
and Hampton Roads is home to many military members
Navy, Marines, Air Force, Army and Coast Guard we
often get calls from individuals who are out-of-state or
overseas and unable to come into the office or

initial consultation. Typically, these
are individuals in which the jurisdiction in
their divorce or custody case is or remains in
Virginia or because of the UCCJEA
(Uniform Child Custody Jurisdiction Act) is
applicable to their case even though they no longer reside in
Virginia.In these circumstances, we simply ask
you to mail any and all documents (send copies
only as the copies you send will not be
returned) for review as discussed earlier in
this section, with a check or money order for
$150.00 payable to The Custody Center, |

Be sure to include your name, phone number and
email address. Upon receipt of your check
and any documents you may have sent, we will
email you to coordinate a mutually convenient
time for the initial consultation. We
would ask that at the time of the consultation,
that you initiate the long-distance telephone
call to us.
